It appears that there may be a PSP price drop.

According to a research report by Shawn Milne and Todd Greenwald, analysts at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co., Inc.
“We do not expect a PS2 price cut due to solid sales at $149 and, perhaps, a price umbrella (due to the high price of Xbox 360 hardware and bundles). However, we believe there is a slight chance for a PSP price cut from $249, as sales have slowed somewhat and the Nintendo DS received a shot in the arm with the release of Nintendogs.” *
