13-Year Old Tries to Trade Handgun for PlayStation Portable

It's kind of ironic; usually, video games are blamed for people taking up arms, not getting rid of them. Yet in one Tacoma middle school, one kid was willing to give up his piece for a PSP.
Ok, so it wasn't actually the kid's gun-- and he was giving it to another kid, anyway, so perhaps that's no better. You can find the full explanation here, but wouldn't it be interesting if schools and local police departments were able to start up some sort of "Guns for Games" program to help turn real-world violence into virtual violence?
Of course, there are then those like He Who Shall Not Be Named that would probably see no difference, anyway, but I suppose that's a topic for another day.
