Last year, we were introduced to the first incarnation of Assassin's Creed in a handheld, Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles. The game was a prequel, a little under the graphical standard as well as lacking in content. Ubisoft plans to change this handheld image of Assassin's Creed, as you can see in the new trailer for Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines.
The game will also have PlayStation3 connectivity, which means anything unlocked in the PS3 version can be used in the PSP game as well. Even though I'm pretty sure 90% of those visuals were from cut scenes, Ubisoft seems to have been hard at work to make all the visuals smoothe and crisp. The game is slated for a Holiday 2009 release, a little bit after it's big brother, Assassin's Creed 2, which is set to release in the Fall. Maybe, if you play the PSP version enough you can end up like this guy.
